The features of our network
The SGI infrastructure is a set of high-pressure pipelines with pipes ranging in diameter from 2 to 24 inches. It is interconnected with:
- natural gas production plants;
- storages owned by Edison Stoccaggio;
- Snam Rete Gas national network at 9 different points;
- minor networks owned by Industrial Consortia in the areas of Venafro-Isernia and Termoli.
The network consists of a number of major natural gas pipelines that form part of the national grid (RNG), the remainder consisting of natural gas pipelines and regional connections (RRG), and is fully integrated with the Snam Rete Gas network in the national grid system.
